Some skills to improve the efficiency of AutoCAD drawing

1. Make full use of the command code:

open the P file under the directory acadr14support with text software (such as WordPad and word under Windows) (Note: the content described in this article takes version 14 as an example), and you can see the following:

; p - External Command and Command Alias definitions

…………

; overboard on systems with tight memory.

a, * arc

c, * circle

cp, * copy

dv, * dview

e, * erase

l, * line

...

where "*" is the full name of the command, and the letter in front of it is the code of the command (also known as abbreviation). If you only need to type "L" after "command:" to use the line command, and type "C" to execute the circle command, you can be familiar with these.Code can improve drawing efficiency, According to our own needs, we can also give the code of some commonly used commands according to the format of the file to facilitate drawing, such as adding "Q, * off high-frequency decadent experimental machine set after the equipment responds to the experimental fixture", and putting the code in the left-hand key position as far as possible, so that the left hand hits the keyboard and the right hand operates the mouse, so as to better coordinate the work

2. Flexibly use the automatic capture drawing function:

in the "command:" state, without typing or selecting any command, when you click directly on the object you want to process (such as line, arc, circle, polygon, etc.), several small blue boxes (called grips) will appear on the object. When you click a grip, this grip will be activated, and the color will change to solid red (the color and box size can be adjusted by ddgrips command), At the same time, under the "command:" command, there is a * * stretch * * command state, and continuous carriage return, and there are four states * * move * *, * * rotate * *, * * scale * *, * * mirror * * (or press st, Mo, RO, SC, MI). In each state, the corresponding command can be executed, which is called the automatic capture drawing function. Flexible use of the automatic capture drawing function can greatly improve the drawing efficiency, for example:

(1) see Figure 1. To change figure 1A into figure 1b, you can take the following methods: first click line 1 and line 2 to make it appear grips, click point P1 to make it activated, move the mouse near point P2 to automatically capture the point, and then click

(2) see Figure 2. In terms of improving diaphragm performance, the following methods can be taken to draw line 2, line 3 and line 4 from line 1: click line 1 to make it appear grips, activate grip P, enter to the * * rotate * * state, type "C" (copy), enter, type "30", enter, type "70", enter, type "120", enter, and then line 2, line 3 and line 4 are drawn, Press "Ctrl + C" or "ESC" to exit the automatic drawing function

3. When you need to locate a point relative to other points in the drawing process, you can use the t fly ash racing function. For example, to draw a circle in the center of a rectangle, you can use the following method to locate the center of the rectangle: first, turn on the auto snap function, type the circle command, and then prompt for the position of the center of the circle. At this time, press and hold the shift key and click the right mouse button, select tracking from the pop-up shortcut menu, and then move the mouse near the midpoint of the bottom edge of the rectangle. When a triangle box representing the midpoint appears, click to capture the point, Then move the mouse to the top right near the midpoint on the right side of the rectangle. Similarly, when a triangle box representing the midpoint appears, click the mouse, enter, and locate the center of the circle at the center of the rectangle, and then enter the corresponding radius

4. In R14, the management of layers and linetypes introduces a new dialog box based on the windows explorer interface, which has a card structure. Users can not only complete all management operations through it, but also sort by name, color and status through several mouse clicks. In R14, if you want to change the layer, linetype, color and other attributes of some objects, it is also easier. Just select the object whose attributes you want to change directly, then pick the corresponding attribute content in the object properties toolbar, and press enter to complete the attribute transformation. In addition, R14 has a function of Match properties (similar to the format brush in word). Select Match properties from the modify drop-down menu, click the object with the required properties, and then select those objects whose properties are to be changed. Press enter to change the properties of these objects into the properties of the object you clicked for the first time

5. Cut or extend multiple entities at the same time. In the process of drawing design, the commands of extension and cutting should be frequently used. Sometimes it may be necessary to cut or extend multiple entities at the same time. At this time, the f fence selection method (fence) can be used, that is, when the status line prompts "/...:" or "/relying on Zhejiang graphene innovation center and Hangzhou graphene Industry Innovation Alliance...:", type "F", enter, specify the starting point, several intermediate points and termination points of the fence line, and enter to confirm, Then all entities intersecting the fence line are cut or extended

6. Optimize the settings of the toolbar. In autocadr14, a large number of toolbars are provided. These toolbars bring convenience to our drawing work, but a large number of toolbars are stacked on the screen, which will reduce the visible area of the drawing. In order to solve this contradiction, users can customize the toolbars according to their own needs, and focus the frequently used tools on several toolbars. The specific steps are as follows:

(1) right click any tool button, The toolbars dialog box is displayed

(2) select "new" to display the new toolbar dialog box. Enter the name of the new toolbar, such as "my", and press "OK" to return. At this time, a blank "my" toolbar is displayed at the top of the screen

(3) select "Customize" in the toolbars dialog box to display the "Customize" dialog box. Select the toolbar name of the required category from "categories", and the corresponding tool button will be displayed below

(4) click and drag the required tool button with the left mouse button to the "my" toolbar, and let go
